Metro Fire offers testing, installation, and repairs of all backflow prevention devices.

Our certified technicians will ensure that the required report is submitted to the City/water purveyor on time. Below is a list of a few items that are tested and checked on an annual basis:

• Checking for any signs of corrosion or leaks
• Testing to make sure the assembly is working properly
• Testing to make sure pressures are within an acceptable range
• Checking to make sure the parts are in place and that there is no damage to the assembly

To schedule a backflow inspection, send the notice from the City/water purveyor to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and we will contact you to schedule an inspection.

Each backflow-prevention assembly required by this section shall be tested at least annually, and more frequently if directed by the water supplier or the Department. Each assembly shall also be tested after installation, relocation or repair.
